The PAP programme Masai offers with MICA is the Pay After Placement Certification Programme in Business Analytics with AI. It is an analytics programme. Its named target roles are Business Analyst, Marketing Analyst and Product Analyst, and its tools are Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI and Jupyter.

MICA lists the programme on its own website, MICA faculty teach in it, and it leads to a MICA Certificate, earned with at least 60% in each unit plus the other completion criteria. The post on who does what between MICA and Masai sets out the roles.

It runs live online, five days a week, three hours a day, for about 26 weeks (six months) and up to ten months depending on pace and mastery. Learners are graduates and above, aged 20 to 28, and a laptop is mandatory.

What a marketing analyst does

A marketing analyst uses data to measure how marketing performs and to decide what to change. The work includes grouping customers, tracking where people drop out of a funnel, testing two versions of a message and reporting the result in a dashboard. The guide to business analytics skills for better decision-making covers the skills behind that work. For the wider range of marketing roles, see highest-paying digital marketing jobs in India.

What Unit 4 teaches a marketer

Unit 4 covers statistics, A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and marketing and product analytics. Its marketing topics map to everyday marketing questions:

  • Segmentation splits customers into groups by behaviour, so each group can be addressed differently.
  • Funnel analysis shows the step where people leave between first touch and purchase.
  • Unit economics works out what one customer or order costs and earns.
  • A/B testing and hypothesis testing tell a real difference between two versions from chance.

What the programme centres on

The six units centre on measuring, explaining and deciding with data:

  • Measuring: SQL, Excel, Python and Power Query.
  • Explaining: Power BI dashboards and statistics.
  • Deciding: segmentation, funnel analysis, unit economics and A/B tests.
  • Using AI tools, with critical validation of what they produce.

If your goal is to learn to execute campaigns on a particular channel, that is a different kind of course from this one. If your goal is to measure and explain marketing performance, the units above are built for it.

What you pay and when

The earlier PAP programmes charged nothing upfront. This one charges three small, fixed amounts before a job:

  • Qualifier test: ₹99.
  • Enrolment: ₹10,000 plus GST, paid at counselling to hold your seat.
  • Elevate: ₹5,000, only if you reach Unit 6. Food, stay and travel are not included.

All three are non-refundable. ₹99 + ₹10,000 + ₹5,000 = ₹15,099 plus GST before placement, if you reach Elevate.

The PAP fee follows an eligible placement. It is ₹1,80,000 for a placement CTC of ₹3.00 to ₹4.99 LPA and ₹2,50,000 for ₹5.00 LPA and above, paid once or in 36 monthly EMIs through NBFC partners. EMIs of ₹6,944 x 36 come to ₹2,49,984, and EMIs of ₹9,722 x 36 come to ₹3,49,992. The EMI route costs more overall, and subvention cost and GST are extra where they apply. Paid once, the totals are ₹15,099 + ₹1,80,000 = ₹1,95,099 or ₹15,099 + ₹2,50,000 = ₹2,65,099, plus GST. The fees and EMI breakdown works through each case.

An eligible placement is an offer at or above the minimum CTC in your agreement, typically from ₹3 LPA. The fee applies one month after you join. Eligible offers cannot be rejected, and company and location preferences are not accepted. A job you find yourself still triggers the fee, because it pays for the teaching and upskilling. A learner who meets every requirement, appears for placements, keeps the Code of Conduct and is not placed by Masai in an eligible role does not owe the PAP fee, though what was paid is not refunded. Leaving or being removed may bring a drop-off fee.

To move past the Foundation Unit you need 90% attendance, 80% assignment completion, 60% in assessments, all required projects and a clean Code of Conduct record. Unit 2 also needs a CIBIL score of 700 or above, a signed Placement Agreement and your documents.

Resume and LinkedIn work at Elevate

Elevate is Unit 6, run in person in Bengaluru, with mandatory attendance. The unit teaches resume building, LinkedIn profile optimisation, mock interviews, interview preparation and communication skills.

For a marketer moving into analytics, the resume has a specific job: it should show that you measure and decide, not only that you execute. The projects you complete across the units give you that material. LinkedIn work then turns it into a profile that tells the same story.

Masai's placement record and hiring partners

Across its programmes, Masai reports a 94% placement rate, an average alumni salary of ₹6.9 LPA and a highest package of ₹36 LPA. Masai lists 4,000+ hiring partners and 10,000+ graduates placed in top companies. Placement figures as published on masaischool.com on 4 November 2026.

These figures describe Masai's programmes to date, not the MICA Business Analytics with AI programme, whose first learners have yet to complete it.

They are history, not a promise for any role. Masai's hiring partners include Swiggy, Ola, Paytm, ShareChat, Dream11, Ajio, HomeLane and Kapiva, and the full logo wall is on the Masai placements page. The list shows Masai's partners; it does not link any company to a role or to this programme. Offers arrive in stages over the months after the programme ends.

Who should join

The programme suits:

  • marketers and working professionals who want to move from reporting to analysis;
  • graduates aiming for a first Marketing Analyst role;
  • career switchers who can study about 25 hours a week for six months or longer.

You also need to be able to travel to Bengaluru for Elevate and be open to any eligible offer. If you want to choose your employer or city, this model does not fit. Every unit is laid out in order in the curriculum, fees and eligibility overview.
