Quick answer: Yes. The business analyst course with placement that Masai offers is the Pay After Placement Certification Programme in Business Analytics with AI, run with MICA, Ahmedabad. "With placement" here means preparation, access to Masai's hiring network and an in-person Elevate unit, not a promised job. The main programme fee is payable only once you have joined an eligible job.

Masai resumes its flagship Pay After Placement (PAP) programme in collaboration with MICA, Ahmedabad. The sections below set out what a business analyst course with placement should include, and how this programme answers each point.

Fees and terms as of 4 November 2026.

What should a business analyst course with placement include?

Placement support is worth judging by what it contains. Six things matter, and the table shows how this programme answers each.

What "with placement" should includeHow the MICA x Masai programme answers it
PreparationResume building, LinkedIn profile optimisation, mock interviews, interview preparation and communication skills training, run in person at Elevate (Unit 6) in Bengaluru
Access to employersMasai's hiring network, and Masai reports 4,000+ hiring partners
In-person interviewsThe in-person Elevate format enables face-to-face interviews with hiring managers and direct feedback on interview performance
Placement timingPlacements happen in a staggered way over several months after the programme ends, and timing varies with each learner's performance, interview readiness and hiring demand
Clear eligibility90% attendance, 80% assignment completion, 60% in assessments, all required projects and the Code of Conduct
A stated end pointThe PAP fee is triggered only after you secure an eligible offer and join. If you met every requirement, appeared for placements and Masai could not place you in an eligible role, the PAP fee is not triggered

Masai does not guarantee a job. Elevate gives preparation and access to opportunities, and clearing the interviews and securing the job remains the learner's responsibility.

The placement path, in order

  1. The end of the learning phase. Placement preparation starts towards the end of the learning phase and runs alongside the final assessments. It includes resume building, interview preparation and mock interviews.
  2. Unit 6, Elevate. This is held offline in Bengaluru and attendance is mandatory. Its fee is ₹5,000, and food, stay and travel are not included.
  3. The placement window. After the programme ends, placements run in a staggered way over several months. You need to appear for placements and keep the Code of Conduct.
  4. An eligible offer. An eligible placement is a job offer at or above the minimum CTC in your agreement, typically starting from ₹3 LPA. You cannot reject an eligible offer, and company or location preferences are not accepted.
  5. Joining, then the fee. The fee applies one month after you join. A job you find yourself still triggers it, because the fee is for the teaching and upskilling.

The fee trigger rules cover each of these steps in full.

Business analyst pay after placement: what you pay and when

Before a job, you pay ₹99 for the qualifier test and ₹10,000 plus GST to enrol, and ₹5,000 for Elevate if you reach Unit 6. All three are non-refundable. A drop-off fee may apply if you leave or are removed.

After an eligible placement, the PAP fee depends on your placement CTC: ₹1,80,000 for ₹3.00 to ₹4.99 LPA, and ₹2,50,000 for ₹5.00 LPA and above, plus GST where it applies. You can pay in one go or in 36 monthly EMIs through NBFC partners, and the EMI route costs more in total with subvention cost and GST extra where they apply. Every total, with and without EMI, is worked out in the fees and EMI breakdown.

What a business analyst does

A business analyst uses data to answer business questions and to support decisions. The programme's units follow that work: business foundations and an analyst mindset, SQL, dashboards, statistics, A/B testing and funnel analysis. The programme names Business Analyst, Marketing Analyst and Product Analyst as its target roles.

For the day-to-day detail, read what a business analyst does. If you are weighing the role against a neighbouring one, the business analyst vs data analyst guide sets out the difference.

Masai's placement record and hiring partners

Masai reports a 94% placement rate, an average alumni salary of ₹6.9 LPA and a highest package of ₹36 LPA. It also lists 4,000+ hiring partners and 10,000+ graduates placed in top companies. Placement figures as published on masaischool.com on 4 November 2026.

These figures describe Masai's programmes to date, not the MICA Business Analytics with AI programme, whose first learners have yet to complete it.

The logos on the Masai placements page include Swiggy, Ola, ShareChat, Ajio, HomeLane, Kapiva, Airmeet and UrbanPiper. Placement support in this programme works through Masai's hiring network.

The average and highest figures are history. They do not apply to a business analyst role, and they are not a promise. In this programme, the resume and LinkedIn work at Elevate comes after five units that each end in a mini project, so there is project work to put on your resume.

Who a business analyst course with placement suits

The programme is for graduates and above, aged 20 to 28, with a laptop. Three groups fit it best:

  • Freshers building towards a first analyst role.
  • Working professionals moving from reporting to analysis.
  • Career switchers who want a structured route into analytics.

You also need to be able to give about 25 hours a week, travel to Bengaluru for Elevate, and hold a CIBIL score of 700 or above to enter Unit 2. A learner who wants to choose the employer or the city will find the terms restrictive, because eligible offers cannot be rejected.
