- • Understand the product manager's job: balancing what users value, what the business needs, and what can be built
- • Understand how LLMs produce their answers, why they can be confidently wrong, and how to catch it
- • See which parts of product work LLMs now handle in minutes, and which still depend on your judgement
- • Run your first product teardown: take apart a popular app to see the decisions behind it
- • Find the root cause of a user's problem, through interviews that do not lead the answer
- • Find patterns across interviews and app reviews with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), which lets an LLM answer from your own documents and show its sources
- • Decide whether an opportunity is worth pursuing, and prioritise solutions by weighing value against effort
- • Choose a North Star metric, the one number that best shows a product is delivering value
- • Have an LLM draft a product spec, then review it yourself for what is missing or unsupported

Collect Zepto's public app reviews and use RAG to find the patterns, with every insight traced back to a real user's words. Tear down the current experience, choose the one problem most worth solving, and write the spec. Then build a working prototype of your fix, test it with real users, and choose the metric it should move. This is what a Product Manager portfolio piece actually looks like.

AI Trip Planner for MakeMyTrip
Design an AI trip planner for MakeMyTrip and decide whether it needs an LLM alone or RAG grounded in real travel information. Build a working prototype, write evaluations to test its answers, and add guardrails so it says clearly when it does not know. Map how a booking agent should behave and where a person must approve. Then decide whether it is ready to launch, and support the decision with evidence.
DECISION OUTPUT
A defendable AI-feature spec ready for cross-functional review with engineering, design, and legal.
