The curriculum

Seven months, from AI fundamentals to your own enterprise AI blueprint.

Six modules and a capstone. Every technical concept is taught in plain language, anchored in a real use case, and connected to the management decision it informs. Modules and topics are indicative and may be adapted to fit total programme hours.

Module 1Month 1 · 15 hours

AI Fundamentals and Driving Adoption

Build a working command of AI, machine learning, deep learning and generative AI, then learn how enterprises actually move from pilots to adoption.

Build a working command of AI, machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI, explained in business language without code
See how classical AI already runs parts of your business: prediction, segmentation, and recommendation systems, with real company examples
Assess your organisation's AI maturity using a structured diagnostic, and understand the phases enterprises move through
Link AI to business strategy, data, processes, and talent, and learn to frame AI opportunities your leadership will fund

Module 2Month 2 · 15 hours

Generative AI for the Enterprise

Understand how large language models actually work, then apply that understanding to briefing, grounding and evaluating GenAI for enterprise use.

Understand how large language models (LLMs) work in practice: what a context window is, why hallucination happens, and when output needs human review
Write structured prompts the way you write a good management brief, and see why briefing quality decides output quality
See Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) in action: grounding AI in your company's own documents so it answers with your policies, products, and data
Judge the customisation ladder: prompting, RAG, and fine-tuning, what each costs, and when each is genuinely needed
Evaluate GenAI vendors and platforms on cost, latency, data residency, and lock-in, using a practical scorecard

Module 3Months 3-4 · 18 hours

Agentic AI for the Enterprise

The core of the programme. Understand what separates an agent from a copilot, then design and govern the agentic systems that act on behalf of the enterprise.

Understand what separates an AI agent from a copilot: autonomy, memory, and the ability to act, not just suggest
See how agents connect to company systems through tool use and function calling, and decide which systems an agent may touch
Understand multi-agent orchestration: how enterprises divide work across agents, and where these systems fail
Design the human-in-the-loop: guardrails, approval checkpoints, and the autonomy matrix that defines what AI may decide alone
Demand the right evidence before scaling: evaluation, observability, and why pilots that demo well still fail in production
Recognise the agentic ecosystem on any vendor proposal: LangChain, LangGraph, Dify, n8n, and what each choice implies for your teams

Responsible AI, Governance and AI Business Models

Close with the questions every AI Officer must be able to answer: how to govern AI responsibly, what the regulatory floor requires, and where the field is going next.

Govern AI responsibly: explainability, bias detection and mitigation, and accountability as a management duty
Understand the regulatory floor: India's DPDP Act, the EU AI Act, and what compliance will ask before they ask it
Evaluate AI-driven business models: established, emerging, and what they mean for your industry
Read the road ahead: agentic ecosystems, regulation, and the societal questions shaping enterprise AI
