Patience and Perseverance: Geethan's Formula for Success

From the tender age of 10 years, Geethan found himself captivated by computers and their applications. As he immersed himself in video games, a dream began to take shape—to forge a rewarding career in computer science.

After completing school, Geethan briefly explored mechanical engineering. His passion for data though, was still alive. Just after graduation when plans to build a career in data did not go as planned, Geethan found a medium to direct his career in data at Masai. With the invaluable guidance of Masai instructors, Geethan has been able to pave his path to success.  Today he worked as a Junior Data Analyst at AdvaRisk. On a bright weekend, Geethan graciously shared his experiences with us, diving deep into his transformative journey at Masai and everything before it.

Discovering Masai

Geethan had a dream of pursuing computer science and becoming a data expert, but health issues made it tough for him to go abroad for further studies. That's when his uncle came to the rescue and told him about Masai School.

As per Geethan what he liked about Masai was that he didn't have to worry about money upfront, thanks to the pay-after-placement model. This took a big load off his shoulders. This meant he could focus on his education without relying on his parents. Now, as a Junior Data Analyst at AdvaRisk, Geethan is living his dream and making strides in his career.

Masai Journey

In just two months at Masai, Geethan became confident in his skills. He was sure he'd get a job once the course finished.

Even though online classes made him a bit uncertain in the beginning, he soon found his way around the curriculum and felt more comfortable. Not only did he learn new skills and knowledge, but he also grew as a person. This prepared him well for the corporate world, understanding both his strengths and areas for improvement.

Learnings From Masai

Geethan's journey at Masai School taught him three invaluable lessons that have shaped his success story.

First, he learned the power of patience, understanding that great things take time and dedication. Second, he discovered the importance of putting effort into practice, realizing that practice makes perfect. And lastly, he was able to instill a never-give-up attitude within himself, especially when facing challenges while learning new concepts and working on construct week projects.

Even during tough times, he remained hopeful and emerged stronger.

Message to Current and Aspiring Students

Geethan had invaluable lessons on patience for current and aspiring students. He suggested that patience is the key to success. As per Geethan, "Things may not happen right away, but trust that everything will fall into place at its own sweet time, just like how ripe fruit tastes the best when it's ready".
